After Animazement, we were extremely tired. As with most cosplay’s, a lot of the details didn’t come together until the last minute.
Add to this location shopping, purchasing inventory, relatives visiting, and a beloved pet dying, and we’ve been pretty exhausted as of late. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that we’re still working full-time jobs while preparing to open our store?
With all that being said, I decided to take a quick break from cosplaying and do something I’ve not done in a while: paint.
This is my first attempt at an abstract painting, and I must say, I think it came out pretty well.
But now that I’m finished painting, it’s time to get back to work. Cosplay America will be in Chapel Hill in just a few short weeks (on our 13th Anniversary, actually!) and we still have to make some much needed repairs to our costumes. And…. we’ve already started working on new custom weapons projects.

Fandom’s hard work, but someone’s gotta do it.
This post is dedicated to Boez, whom, before passing, felt the need to chew on the corner of 2 of the 4 canvases.
