Good morning Bloggers!
I’m sorry for my extended absence. Between the fact that my computer’s been acting stupid (not allowing me to post) and just being busy (don’t worry, I’m still working on my custom Attack on Titan figures and will post an update soon), it’s been difficult to get a post in.
But I’m back!
Moving on, October is my favorite month. Fall is all around us: the leaves changing color, the air crisp, and Halloween waiting.
Halloween is my favorite holiday. Ever.
All year long, I look forward to going to haunted houses, trick-or-treaters, Halloween costumes, and being scared in a “safe” environment. What could be better?
Well, it seems I’ve found a job that agrees with me. The corporate heads think Halloween should be celebrated in an extreme manner. There’s a costume contest. A chili contest. A pumpkin decorating contest. And a departmental skit contest.
I’ve never seen anything like this before.
My department is putting on a skit (sorry, I can’t tell you what it is yet, it’s super-secret-squirrel-action) and I’m excited. This is my first year here and I’m helping spearhead the production since it’s based on one of my ideas. All I can say is that it’s going to be epic.
Because of all of the team-building exercises, opportunities, and frankly, prizes, I’ve also decided to participate in the Pumpkin Decorating Contest.
If you perform a Google search for “Pumpkin Decorating,” the results are beyond amazing. There are some really talented people out there. I know that I can’t match any of the pics posted below, but dammit, I’m going to give this my best shot.
Too bad I still need to figure out what I’m carving…
This is my favorite:
All pics are from http://www.thisoldhouse.com/ Halloween Contests.
I’m always amazed with what people can carve. Good luck!

You should dress up as Morocco Mole for your Super Secret Squirrel Skit.

Pretty cool carvings. The only thing I can do is make simple jackel-o-latern carving. My dad knows how to make a Mickey Mouse face.

I wish I could do them. I’m going to try my hand at a design – don’t know how well it’ll come out – but I’m going to try….
